Intermountain Nursery grows many taxa of California native flora, located in the Sierra Nevada foothills between the San Joaquin and Kings Rivers. We grow regionally adapted native plants for restoration, conservation, and home landscapes.

Founded over forty years ago, Intermountain continues to evolve as a hub for restoration professionals, educators, researchers, and community members.

The nursery is a center for native seed propagation, ecological restoration services, and community-based education. We work with local nonprofits, tribes, schools, federal and state agencies, and landowners to restore habitat, conserve native flora, and support climate-resilient landscapes across the Central Valley and Sierra Nevada.
