Intermountain Nursery Workdays
Intermountain Nursery hosts seasonal stewardship workdays focused on land care, native plant systems, and applied restoration. These workdays support both nursery operations and broader ecological goals across our twelve acre foothill property.
Our site sits within the Sierra Nevada foothill belt on the confluence of Big Sandy Creek. Blue oak woodland, mixed chaparral, riparian corridors, and native grassland all converge here. Workday efforts contribute directly to habitat resilience, erosion control, native plant and propagation infrastructure, and demonstration gardens.

Help Us Document
Volunteers are encouraged to use the iNaturalist app to help document plants, insects, and other life observed during stewardship days. Our restoration and garden areas are part of an ongoing iNaturalist project, contributing to long-term observation of biodiversity and seasonal change.
Over time, portions of the garden may be used to observe how native species respond to local conditions, helping long-term understanding of our local flora.
You are welcome to come simply to help, to learn, or to spend time working with the land. No prior experience is necessary.
