Intermountain Nursery Opening Weekend

We’re back! And we couldn’t be happier to welcome you in. After a long stretch with our doors closed to the public, Intermountain Nursery is reopening, and we want to celebrate with our community from all over the Sierra Nevada and San Joaquin Valley and beyond.

Join us for a weekend full of plants, music, and connection. Stroll through our expanded native plant selection, fall veggie starts, and seasonal garden offerings. Explore our newly launched gift shop and bookstore, featuring regional authors, local art, and handpicked nature-inspired goods.

Enjoy live music into the evening—bring your dancing shoes or just relax and soak it in. Local food vendors will keep you fueled, and community organizations will be on site with information, resources, and ways to get involved.

We’re thrilled to be back in the world of native plants and to share this space with all of you again!

Read below for full details, schedule, and partners.

2:00 PM – 7:00 PM — Hang out, browse the gardens, and eat with us. Featuring wood-fired pizza by Loretzeria Pizza (Auberry) and traditional tacos from Taqueria San Mateo (Fresno), with fresh, local flavors all afternoon and into the evening.

4:00 PM – 9:00 PM — Kick off the night with fusion legends BOHA, followed by select soul jams from Danielle Rondero & The Nitty Gritty. Global tunes spanning all genres from our pal DJ Meztisoul (RMS Radio, Private Wax, Visalia) before and after the bands. Bring a blanket, your dancing shoes, or both.
